ART AT THE MILLENNIUM
A Symposium on Art Issues in
the Nation’s Capital.
Sponsored by
the Art Dealers Association of Greater Washington
Saturday, September 26, 1998
Cosmos Club
2121 Massachusetts Avenue NW
Members of the Art Dealers
Association of Greater Washington believe there is a need for a broader
understanding of the interrelated roles of museum directors, curators,
art historians, dealers, collectors, artists, writers, and others interested
in the visual arts. In a city where the museums are national and the area
arts community focus is perceived as regional, it is important to begin
with the museum director's prospective on what directors, collectors, artists,
and dealers are doing to strengthen the visual arts in greater Washington
DC.
