The Marsha Mateyka Gallery was established in 1983 by the art historian, Marsha Perry Mateyka.  A leading gallery of contemporary art, exhibitions include painting, sculpture, photography and works on paper. The gallery represents approximately 20 artists including the modern American masters:  

Sam Gilliam
Nathan Oliveira
William T. Wiley
Estate of Gene Davis

The gallery also represents: Susan Eder/ Craig Dennis, Aline Feldman, Christopher French, Madeleine Hatz, Kitty Klaidman, Jae Ko, Kathleen Kucka, Maria Moser, Sheila Rotner, Jim Sanborn,  Buzz Spector, Athena Tacha,  and Nancy Wolf.

The gallery's clients include major museums, corporate collections and private collectors.  It is located in an historic townhouse in the Dupont Circle neighborhood, around the corner from the Phillips Collection.  The gallery is a very short walk from the Red Line Metro stop, Dupont Circle, Q St. exit.  Gallery hours are Wednesday - Friday, 11:00 to 6:00 pm and Saturday, 11:00 to 5:00 pm
