Adamson Gallery
Adamson Gallery was founded in 1982 and is one of Washington DC's leading contemporary galleries. Director Laurie Adamson showcases the publications of Adamson Editions, as well as emerging and established local, national and international artists.
Adamson Editions, a Washington DC-based digital atelier, has been in operation since 1979, first as a lithography studio. Since 1993, David Adamson has been the premier digital printmaker in the country. Adamson Editions has collaborated with some of the most interesting and influential artists working today, including Adam Fuss, Jim Dine, Lee Friedlander, Roni Horn, Kiki Smith, Jenny Holzer, Donald Sultan and Ross Bleckner. Adamson Editions is also a publisher, having produced editions with Chuck Close, Robert Longo, Annie Leibovitz, and Victor Schrager.
