Jane Haslem Gallery
Jane Haslem opened her first gallery in Chapel Hill, NC. At that time it was the first commercial art gallery in the state. In 1964 she sold
the NC gallery and reopened in Madison, WI, which she operated until 1973. In 1969 she opened another gallery in Washington DC. and commuted between Madison and Washington for several years, finally settling in DC. For the past twenty-two years the gallery has been located in historic Dupont Circle just across from the Phillips Museum. The gallery is known for its in-depth collection of prints by those artists responsible for reviving printmaking in the US after World War II.
