Maurine Littleton Gallery
Located in Washington DC's historic Georgetown neighborhood, Maurine Littleton Gallery features works by leading contemporary glass artists. Littleton, the daughter of Harvey K. Littleton (acknowledged as the father of the studio glass movement), is the director of the gallery. Her firsthand knowledge of glass began in early childhood. After two decades of exhibitions she is respected as an expert in the field.
While the gallery's primary focus is contemporary glass, it presents ceramics by Don Reitz, Jun Kaneko and James Tanner, and metal by Albert Paley. The gallery displays vitreographic prints made from glass plates at the Littleton Studio in North Carolina.
